WEConnect International is reaching out to let you know about some exciting progress on our online WECommunity platform launching this autumn in partnership with USAID and SAP Ariba, along with support from Accenture, ExxonMobil, IBM and P&G!
The old eNetwork platform is being replaced with a more efficient and user-friendly interface that will connect you to the new WECommunity platform.
With WECommunity, you’ll be able to see the status of your application through automatic emails. In addition, member buyers and certified women-owned businesses will be able to post simple solicitations. This service will help even more women-owned businesses grow and connect with each other and with member buyers.
You’ll be able to keep in touch on the go with WECommunity’s mobile friendly capabilities to view and search the online database of women suppliers based in over 120 countries on your mobile phone, tablet or desktop computer.
WECommunity will be available in 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Italian and Polish.
As part of this upgrade, we are also modernizing our website to make it more accessible and user-friendly. We’ll be showcasing the success stories of our women-owned businesses front and center as well as the impact of our member buyers.

Ngozi Oyewole was terrified in early March 2020. She had represented WEConnect International at a Mentoring Walk for International Women’s Day celebration in Lagos State, Nigeria. It was a well-attended event and she addressed a crowd of young, vibrant women, speaking on the need to bridge the gender gap in Nigeria. It was an exciting day and she returned home exhausted but feeling extremely fulfilled. Then things took a drastic turn.
WEConnect International, in partnership with Procter & Gamble, launched the 2020 edition of the Singapore Women Entrepreneurs Development Program (WEDP) on Wednesday, April 15th. WEDP 2020 is taking place despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic with the learning sessions conducted online in compliance with regulations to minimize physical meetings and the shared commitment to ensure the safety of staff and participants.
