WEConnect International in South Africa identifies, educates, registers, and certifies women's business enterprises that are at least 51% owned, managed, and controlled by one or more women. WEConnect International is the only non-profit organisation in South Africa that provides the seal of certification uniquely to Women Business Enterprises (WBEs), and also, that connects these WBEs with multi-national corporate purchasing organizations across diverse industries. Our signature seal of certification is a formal guarantee to corporations that they are purchasing goods and/or services from South African businesses that meet universal standards for WBEs. Almost 600 women-owned businesses worldwide reported how the current pandemic crisis has affected their businesses. These are the local results for South Africa:

WEConnect International and Procter & Gamble have previously partnered in South Africa (2017 and 2019) to provide the Business Development Program (BDP), a 10-module capacity building training program, to a diverse range of women business owners registered with WEConnect International.  The course was highly rated by the trainees – not only the relevance of the content, but also the expertise of the presenters and facilitators, many of whom were from the P&G  leadership team.
