This year we were hit by a global pandemic. In turn, this has disrupted the ways in which we go about our daily lives. Countries and governments across the globe have implemented social distancing, self-isolation, and quarantines. Because of this, we tend to focus on the uncertainty of our circumstances surrounding COVID-19.
Human beings are wired to interact. Our connections to other people help us learn and grow, and form our understanding of who we are and the world we live in. We must learn to be free to engage more, be part of a group, absorb from others and harmonise with group values. In this session, we delve into lockdown positivity, where we learn to understand social connectedness as essential to our survival, especially during these trying times.
Jazz Mbanjwa founder, executive director and Mindfulness Dialogue Lead of Zenzele People Professionals and JazzOptimism.Com, and will help us to understand how we can utilise this valuable lockdown time to re-engineer and plan for a brighter; smarter and more resourceful future to boost our economy and livelihoods. The session will be moderated by Kgobati Magome, CEO & Executive, CI Coaching.
