WEConnect International in Singapore opens doors to new business opportunities for women business owners. Led by corporate members, it certifies firms in Singapore that are at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by women and connects them with the growing global demand from corporations and the public sector for diverse and innovative suppliers. The organization partners with corporations, associations, governments, women entrepreneurs and their supporters, and is part of a global certification network for women-owned enterprises.

Rigmor Berthier, Hui Ting Lee, and Cecile Gauthier decided to found Lime Agency after working well together at a previous agency with “the kind of dynamic that makes you happy to go to work in the morning.” They decided to combine their knowledge and experience in marketing, communication, and advertising to create their own consulting and design agency in 2015.

On May 22nd, 2019, WEConnect International partnered with the Emerging Markets Institute at INSEAD to host an inaugural Supplier Diversity Forum in Singapore. 

Singapore Corp RountableOn February 14th, 2019, WEConnect International held a corporate roundtable entitled “The Gold Standard of Global Supplier Diversity” at the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. The event was attended by procurement representatives from 12 corporations and one government entity.

The WEConnect International launch event in Singapore consisted of three parts - an invite-only corporate roundtable, a private networking session between women-owned businesses and corporate attendees, and the public launch event, which highlighted WEConnect International’s global network. The event was made possible through the support of ExxonMobil and Johnson & Johnson.
