In Australasia, WEConnect International works in collaboration with women's organizations including BPW (Business & Professional Women), The Ruby Connection (part of Westpac Bank), Women In Global Business (part of Austrade), WCEI (Women Chiefs of Enterprise International). Certification is offered in Australia and New Zealand.

WEConnect International in Australia is pleased to once again support and invite our members to attend the 3rd annual Women in Procurement conference, taking place in Melbourne from 26-28 April 2017. The event has established itself as the annual meeting for procurement and supply chain managers to advance careers and benchmark their organisations progress in industry practices. Westpac.svgThe number of female executives at firms listed on the global Bloomberg Financial Services Gender Equality Index (BFGEI) increased by 25.2% between 2014 and 2015. The BFGEI recognizes 52 firms in 17 countries, and this is the first time Australian firms, including local WEConnect International corporate member Westpac, have been featured in the index. 

According to the Financial Standard: "Firms included on the index demonstrate an average female board representation of 24.2%, while 73% require a gender diverse range of candidates for management roles. A further 83% offer or sponsor financial literacy and education programs for women, and 75% have return to work processes in place for female staff."
