We will explain what supplier diversity is, what a supplier diversity programme looks like, what IBM expects from their suppliers with regards to supplier diversity, what the programme brings to women-owned businesses. Presentation: Introduction to VDU & WEConnect International in Europe (German & English)

We will introduce you to WEConnect International in Europe which is the leading global supplier diversity initiative spearheading the connection of women-owned business and multinational corporations. It is Europe's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to global and national corporations and government bodies - as well as Verband deutscher Unternehmerinnen (VdU- Association of Women Business Owners in Germany). We will have the first women owned business certifying in Germany. This session will be presented by Maggie Berry Executive Director for Europe, WEConnect International and Evelyne deGruyter, Lead PR, Verband deutscher Unternehmerinnen e. V. (VdU)

This theatre musical presentation is about the life of well-known and strong women in Germany. It was conceived mainly for women to encourage them to follow their own career path, to actively create it and to create new ideas. With the depiction of examples of strong female figures from politics to art and economy, but also the challenges they face, this presentation shows how individual successful visions can look like.
