WEConnect International in Europe opens doors to new supply chains. Led by corporate members, it certifies firms in the United Kingdom and Ireland that are at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by women and connects them with the growing global demand from corporations and the public sector for diverse and innovative suppliers. The organization partners with corporations, associations, governments, women entrepreneurs and their supporters, and is affiliated with a global certification network for women-owned enterprises.

The Sourcing Team was first introduced to Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 2014 at a WEConnect International event hosted by IBM. They met Caroline Howarth and Janene Scurfield at Enterprise’s regional headquarters in Nottingham, which led to an opportunity to provide merchandise to the company’s recruitment team. At this point, they were introduced to Enterprise’s talent recruitment agency, Hodes.

Our flagship event of the year will be held on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th November 2019. Details will be shared with you soon.

Conference2018

Our 2018 flagship event was held at the Hilton London Paddington - one of London's grandest Victorian hotels that has offered unrivalled hospitality in its iconic location since 1854. Both days of the conference was chock-full with talks, presentations and breakout sessions based on the conference theme of ‘community, connections and collaboration,’ with all activities focussed on helping women business owners to succeed and corporations to further develop their supplier diversity programmes.
