Madelaine Artavia’s inspiration comes from childhood. She grew up frequenting construction projects with her father, who was a carpenter and master of works. She became his assistant and learned the beauty of building and the value of work. Today, she designs spaces that not only remain on paper but convey the emotion of transformation during the execution. This is how Arquitectura Arquenz was born in 2002 in Costa Rica, after Madelaine graduated as an architectural cartoonist while juggling life as a single mother.
